The Compassionate Friends
The Compassionate Friends is formed by and for parents whose children have died, at any age, from any cause, at any time. TCF is an international self-help, non-profit organization, offering friendship, understanding, grief education and hope for the future to all bereaved parents. Membership is open to all bereaved parents, adult siblings and grandparents.
Support group meets the last Thursday of the month at 6 p.m. at the People Place.

Gardens and volunteers needed for our Annual Garden Tour
Tickets go on sale early May 2026
Our 22nd annual People Place Garden Tour takes place Saturday, June 6 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and we are now booking gardens and volunteers. The tour features gardens of all varieties: small, large, lush, xeriscaped. We’re not seeking perfection, just gardens that might be of interest to other gardening enthusiasts. We also need volunteers to help get ready for the big day and on the day itself.
